Goals Overview

This page displays the list of goals that are assigned to you. You can create goals for yourself and add task to the created goals.

To search for a particular goal, under the Search section select goal start and due date, goal name, goal type, or goal status and click Search . Based on the search criteria, the records will be displayed.

To create a new goal, click the New Goal pop-up will appear. It contains the following fields:


Visibility: Select visibility type either public or priority
Goal Name: Enter the goal name
To add goal name click the Goal Library pop-up appears. Select the goal you want to add.
To add a goal to the goal library, click the Add Goal pop-up appears, enter details and click Save.
Note: You can add a goal to the goal library only when the privilege is given to you.
Goal Type: Select the goal type as individual
Align To: Select either business or department goal
Assigned to: Your name will be auto-populated
Starts On: Goal start date
Due By: Goal due date
Effort: Select either high, medium, or low
Priority: Select either high, medium, or low
Goal Owner : Goal owner (manager) name will be auto-populated
Status: Initially the status will be new
Goal Description: Description about the goal

After providing all the details click Save .

To view/update the goal details, click the View Goal pop-up will appear. Make the required changes and click Update .

To delete a goal, click a a confirmation pop-up will appear, click OK .

You can perform more actions on a particular goal, as required. To view the options, click a pop-up appears displaying the options that you can perform on that goal. Each option is explained below.

Void

To void a goal, click the Void option, a confirmation pop-up appears click OK

Add KPI

To add KPIs to a goal, click the Add KPI option a pop-up will appear. It contains the following fields:


KPI Name: Enter the goal name
To add a new KPI, click the New KPI pop-up appears, enter details and click Save. To add this KPI to the library, click Add to Library.
To add KPI from the existing library click the KPI Library pop-up appears. Click the KPI you want to add.
KPI Type: Select the KPI type either smart or actionable
Metric Type : Select the metric type
Target Value: Enter value
Starts On: Goal start date
Due By: Goal due date
Status: Initially the status will be new
Progress: The progress can be updated based on the status
Effort: Select either high, medium or low
Priority: Select either high, medium or low
Owner: Goal owner, it is auto-populated
Assign To: It is auto-populated
Score Scale: Select how you would like to display the goal score
Frequency to Update Goal: Select frequency type i.e., when you need to update the goal status either daily, weekly or monthly.
KPI Category: Based on the KPI selected, it is displayed
Description: Description about the KPI.

After providing all the details click Save .

Add/View Task

To add task, click the Add/View Task option, the Add Task pop-up appears. It displays the list of tasks (if any) that are already added to the goal.

Enter task name, select frequency to update the task, starts on, due by date, add notes, task description, and click Save .

To view/update the task details, click the available under the Actions column, a View Task pop-up appears. Make the required changes and click Update .

View/Add Comments

To view/add comments to a goal, click the View/Add Comments option, a pop-up appears. Enter your comments and click Add .

Share

To share a goal with other employees, click the Share a pop-up appears. Select department, employees of that particular department are made available in the employees field, choose employees and click Share .

View/Add Weightage

To add view/add weightage to a goal, click the View/Add Weightage option, a pop-up appears. Enter the weightage and click Save

Plan Meeting

To plan a meeting regarding a goal, click the Plan Meeting option, the Plan a Meeting pop-up will appear. It contains the following fields:



Title: Enter meeting name
To: Select employee
Location: Meeting location
Starts On: Select meeting start date and time
Ends On: Select meeting end date and time
Reminder: When to reminder the employee (a reminder notification will be sent to the employee)
Recurrence: Recurrence type
Notes: Add notes about the meetingā€ƒ

After providing all the details click Send Invitation .

KPIs

To view the KPIs assigned to a goal click , the list of KPIs added to the goal will be displayed.

To view/update the details of a KPI, click the View KPI pop-up will appear. Make the required changes and click Update .

To remove a KPI, click a confirmation pop-up will appear, click OK .

To rate a KPI, click , the More Actions pop-up will appear. Click the Rate KPI option, a pop-up will appear, select the score and click Update .

To request feedback from the employees, click , the More Actions pop-up will appear. Click the Request Feedback option, a pop-up will appear, select the employees and click Request .

To download the team goal details, click , the Select Export Format pop-up will appear. Click the required format, the file will be downloaded.
